I am new to this forum and to my searches this question hasn’t been asked yet, but if it has please let me know.
I am setting up a simulation and analysis of the Parrot FPV Disco and am looking to obtain 3D models of the FPV Disco in either a SolidWorks (.sldprt/sldasm) or STEP file format. If anyone knows if these have been created and if they can be downloaded. I would appreciate a response.

I need to see if we can publish this …

Any news about this?

No there has not been. I’ve attempted to get in contact with Parrot in other manners to no avail.

Parrot is Parrot… To have statistics on forums would be interesting.

Hi All, has anyone been able to find a 3D model of the Disco? Any chance Parrot can release it?

nope. no response to this post from parrot or from Jerome

still working on it
This is not a simple yes/no project …

Have you explored exporting the Disco model from Gazebo ?

I could 3d Scan my Parrot disco, have a scanner here, would that be ok with you guys over at parrot ?

Yes, please! Thank you.

Thanks for replying. We know there’s a lot of work that goes into stuff like this. Please keep us updated!

If you do this, could you also scan each individual piece that you can? The Project I’m hoping to do would require as much detail as possible, but anything helps. Thanks

Really looking forward to this as I would like to make custom backpacks for the disco. By that, I mean custom lids that could hold different items like cameras, and GPS trackers. At this point, I have started with hand carving a block of foam. Not easy at all.

There is this guy selling it for too much!! https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/parrot-disco-drone-3d-max/1025375

That model is crap anyways. Obviously a model that lacks some core features like wing twist. I am planning to scan the disco with a Gom to get the real shape and derive the airfoil selection from it. Reverse engineering muahahahha.
