Hello! I have Bebop2 and SkyContoller2. I want to be able to control the drone from the computer using ARDroneSDK. I connect my computer to SkyContoller2 using a usb - ethernet adapter. But when I run the “ping 192.168.43.1” command, I get “Destination Host Unreachable”. Play video stream using vlc also fails. At the same time, I manually change the ip address of my computer 192.168.43.xx.
Where do I make a mistake? Is it possible to control the flight of a drone in this way, or is it only possible to receive a video stream. Grateful for any clues.

I don’t think that that connection is supported by the skycontroller FW.

This is how I was able to connect to my drone from a PC.
Plug in a strong WIFI transceiver into the computer.
connect to the drones wifi network using the provided security key.
Note that the drone only supports 2 clients to connect so disconnect the phone or tablet from the drone or the security key will fail over and over again.
Scan using wireshark for the drone and open ports. (there is a website hosted by the drone that will resolve also I don’t remember what it is)

The problem with the usb to ethernet adapter is:
The controller does not know to register the usb to ethernet adapter as a network port as it is looking for USB connection to a OTG device.
