Exif lens perspective distorsion disappear in 1.4.1

Hi,

In 1.4.1 firmware, I dont see anymore distorsion values. Is this a bug ?
Camera vignetting and principal point name has changed so application note SEQ-AN-02 and SEQ-AN-04 are not valid with exifs below especially with Xmp.Camera.PerspectiveDistorsion.
Where could we have this information now ?

Hi @kikislater

Regarding the tags that you refer to, nothing has changed.
You are just confused because you are looking at the tags of one of the multispectral camera and trying to find tags related to the RGB camera.

Please find two examples of tags extracted with exiftools on pictures I just took using a 1.4.1 camera.
exif examples.zip (5.4 KB)

Vignetting is still present in the multispectral data. So is everything related to Fisheye distorsion.
Regarding the RGB camera, you will find the perspective model.

Ok so it wasn’t clear in application note that perspective distorsion is only for RGB. Now it’s ok and thank you for your answer.
I didn’t realize that vignetting parameters are not only related to pure vignetiing but also to barrel distorsion. If so, I’m sorry but the document is not very clear !
