Pixhawk Sequoia interface

Hi all,

We are working on an interface between Pixhawk and Sequoia.
Nothing fancy just PWM to PTP.

So far we can do single capture as many times as necessary, but the the 5s is more than any flight operation could handle.
Sending 0x100E will move the camera into single shot mode (5sec/pic)
timelaps and GPS modes can do 1.5s.

our question is:
how can we set the camera in gps mode but trigger from outside signal not by GPS distance?
is there any other mode?
