Powering Raspberry Pi using Bebop Battery

#1

HI.

I know the question might seems illogical, but is there is it possible to power the raspberry pi using Bebop battery, Does this mini USB port provide 5 volts.

Regards

#2

The USB port does provide 5V, but only 500mA (USB regulation).
Depending on your usage, it can be enough.
Best,
Jerome

Thanks. I will try it and see the results,

Hi,
You can do that :slightly_smiling:

Inside I have put a new battery 1300mA/h 20C and only 95g for my micro-controller (from pololu and only 3g) and the bebop
The Bebop is powerd by a mini-tamiya as usual and my components with the JST-XH connector used for the charger in aeromodelisme,
Greetings,
Sorry for my bad english,
Roland

Hi

Can you share the STL files of this box. I have a 3D printer,

Regards

#6

Yes, send me an adress email via the forum and I send you the original from 123D Design (it’s free software). Like that you could make modifications for your own. I think it’s better like STL. And my STL are very BIG to send…
Greetings
Roland

Hi,
I was wondering if you were able to get the raspberry pi to work using the power supply via USB port on the Bebop ?
Thanks

#8
