Hi everyone!

I am working on an IoT project and am looking into incorporating Parrot drones to be controlled by my custom IoT board with a PSoC BLE chip and a WiFi-capable microcontroller instead of a mobile App. Is it possible to make my own controller with this IoT board to directly control a Parrot drone? I’m targeting to use the BLE chip, and as such, the rolling spider and parrot mambo are my possible options as they are BLE-capable. Are there other options?

The IoT board firmwares are written in C/C++ and I do not have yet the experience with mobile development. Thus, seeing that the SDK libraries for the drones are meant for Android/iOS applications, I am not sure as to the possibility of integrating drone control into my project.

If this is possible, can you advise me on where to start/look for this project with the drones?
