Using the SkyController to control other drones

My Bebop 2 drone fell into the sea and is dead. And now I’m stuck with the controller and no drone. My question is, what protocol and what frequency does the SkyController work on? How could I use it to connect to other drones (given the required hardware)? And what type of receiving antenna should I get?
I have the SkyController 2 with the latest software and have python programming skills, and the knowledge to build a drone. Please forgive me if my question doesn’t belong here.
