Access internet through stolen wireless interface

I’m using Sphinx to simulate Anafi and it works great. However, I notice that when Sphinx takes over the wireless interface and creates an AP through hostapd, the AP doesn’t have internet access that my computer is connected to (through ethernet).

Accessing the internet is important for me while my iPad is connected to the AP created by Sphinx. Is this possible?

Got it, connected the Parrot controller to the drone’s WiFi (using freeflight as mentioned here: SkyController 3 connection), and then connected my ios app to the controller via cable.
