Connecting a Skycontroller to Sphinx 2.3

Hi,
can Sphinx 2.3 fly a simulated Bebop 2 drone and connect to a Skycontroller 2 ? or shall I just remain with the old Sphinx 1.8 to continue to use a Skycontroller 2?
