Direct Remote Identification

The new firmware has an option in the Network tab for Direct Remote Identification.

What protocol/format does this use?

Open Drone ID messages as the format is defined in the ASTM Remote ID standard available at https://www.astm.org/Standards/F3411.htm?

The Direct Remote Identification protocol is based on wifi beacons and is compliant with the French regulation which you can find details on https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/jorf/id/JORFTEXT000039685188/
(only in french).
