Moreover is there a way instead of rebooting the PC every time to get the PONG for the connection.

The physics engine used by sphinx is Open Dynamics Engine (ODE). Its parameters are visible in the “physics” section of the GUI client.

To start firmwared, you just need to execute once:

sudo systemctl start firmwared.service

Firmwared is a daemon that runs in the background. There is no need to reboot your machine once it is started.
