V quick question. When connecting from a laptop directly to the anafi USA wifi access point, does this use 2.4Ghz or 2.4Ghz AND 5.8?
When connecting from a laptop directly to the Anafi USA’s Wi-Fi access point, it primarily uses the 5.8 GHz frequency band. The Anafi USA is designed to operate on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, but for direct connections, it typically utilizes the 5.8 GHz band to provide a more stable and higher bandwidth connection, which is beneficial for video streaming and data transfer. However, the 2.4 GHz band may also be available for certain applications or environments where longer range or better penetration through obstacles is needed. You can find more info on the blog
Hi @alexvizgard,
Sorry for the delay.
You can configure the wifi preference mode (2.4 or 5.8) from the Freeflight application, and the drone will remember this configuration the next time you connect to the computer.
Regards,
Axel
