Add position offset for tags

Hi,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to add position offset for tags.
For example, I would like to add a big april tag on top of SUV, but it seems that the top of the vehicle isn’t flat and its texture goes on my april tag.

I saw on Populate the scene with actors - 2.14.1 that we can chose a position, but can we add custom position ? How to do it ?

Best,
Clément

Hello,

Tags can only be placed in predefined locations for each vehicle as shown in the documentation.
It is not possible to add an offset to the tag’s location.

If this could help you, try using another vehicle. The BoxTruck, for example, has a larger flat surface to place tags.

Thank for your quick answer @ayedes.

In that case, is it possible to add custom vehicle with custom location ?
If so, is there a documentation on that ?

Clément

I saw on Adding custom objects in scene - #3 by ayedes that it’s not possible to add custom object or vehicle. It’s sad but I hope it will be possible later

Nevertheless, could you fix in the next version of sphinx the position of the Top Tag on SUV ? to make square texture middle of the roof in X and Y (between roof rack). And flat the texture to avoid going on the tag ?

Best,
Clément

We will fix the issue in a future version of Sphinx
